Our experience has shown that most "developmental" investments in organizations are marginalized for two reasons.
The impact of this on organizations is dramatic. Individuals will often select or be seconded to roles that are a less than ideal fit. Their performance is below their capacity, and their morale begins to suffer. The LifePath Workshop is a significant investment in individual and organizational performance. The 3 day program takes individuals down a significant introspective journey. During the first two days, through a combination of assessment instruments, group work and structured reflections individuals create a Career BluePrint, This blueprint serves as a roadmap and compass for attaining career success. The rest of the workshop is about implementation. Participants look at conventional and unconventional approaches for finding or creating roles in their current organization that are a match with their Career BluePrint. They identify matches and discrepancies within their current roles, and uncover ways to work through the discrepancies.
How can they spend more time mastering their strengths in their work,
and Finally, each participant creates a future vision that covers all aspects of their life, and then an action plan to ensure they attain that vision. Participants come
to appreciate the shifting employee/employer relationship. They understand
that it is their responsibility to lead their career, and to identify
