Phil has been focusing on leadership development, coaching and organizational improvement for 20 years. His core skills are in group facilitation, team development, leadership coaching, and career management. He is especially effective in leading organizational change.

He brings a well-rounded background to organizations, having held prior roles as an Information Systems Professional, Controller, Sales and Marketing Management positions, including 10 years with IBM Canada. His current clients include TransCanada, Talisman Energy, Superior Propane, Provident Energy, Deloitte, The Calgary Herald and Nexen. His work has brought him across Canada, the United States, to Europe and Asia. He has also enjoyed extensive personal travel and has a deep interest and appreciation for global cultures and people.

Phil is the President of Potentials Unlimited Inc., a consulting and training company based in Calgary, Alberta. He is an associate of iC International. He has over 500 hours of training and accreditation in the area of Leadership Development. He has deep expertise in working with Myers-Briggs step I and II, Insights Discovery, and other work style assessment instruments.

Much of Phil's work is with senior leaders and leadership teams, including boards, providing coaching, facilitation support, ideas and perspective on both organizational strategy development and leadership team effectiveness. His clients appreciate his creative ability to deliver outcomes, enhance relationships and build energy within the groups he supports.

Phil lives in Calgary, Alberta, and spends much of the winter with his wife Jan and son Devin skiing in Fernie BC.
